E-Commerce Sales Administrator (Part-Time)

Purpose: Assist with increasing sales and traffic on the Rolled Alloys website. Proactively promote innovative eservice and ecommerce tools with a customer-first mentality.


Duties will include various responsibilities such as:

• Field incoming web traffic and promote service tools based on customer requirements.
• Set up new accounts in sales system and enable access to online dashboard .
• Ensure data integrity in sales system and website while supporting the Internet Sales Team.
• Assist with maintaining and updating customer information.

Inside Sales

Duties will include various responsibilities such as:

• Developing and entering quotes and orders in the sales system in response to customer inquiries.
• Maintaining existing accounts in the respective sales territory, while also developing new business.
• Processing paperwork associated with the sales process.

Warehouse Operator

Daily Objective: Practice and Support the high quality aerospace standard (AS9100) of Rolled Alloys' Quality Management System (QMS) and conduct responsibilities in a timely and safe manner.


Duties will include various responsibilities such as:

• Reading a tape measure and cutting to specific tolerances
• Converting fractions to decimals
• Read and follow what the customer has ordered and corresponding work instructions on the traveler (material inspection form)
• Perform material inspections
• Determine by physical inspection whether the material (to be) processed is correct
• Properly record inspection information on the traveler
• Record what can physically can be inspected, and determine if it meets the criteria of the order and material tolerances.
• Perform Positive Material Identification (PMI) on material (steel/metal) processed (X-Ray Analysis)
• Cutting solid and hollow stainless steel material via an Abrasive Saw Machine, Band Saw, or Cold Saw
• Grinding steel cut ends with a circular grind machine
• Accurately input order inspection and inventory return information from the traveler into the company software program (BTS) for official recording
• Manage personal workflow to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
• Assist with preventative maintenance of abrasive saws when needed
• Practice to the facility housekeeping standard (i.e. cleanliness, organization)
• Responsible for driving a forklift and operating an overhead crane

Warehouse Operator - Cutting

Summary: Responsible for producing cut-to-size pieces for customers’ orders through use of company-owned sawing equipment. This function includes staging of inventory and restocking of remnants generated in the cutting process.


Duties will include various responsibilities such as:

• Proficiency in operating all company owned sawing equipment
• Documentation of inventory movement through the use of company computer system
• Documentation of inventory movement on hard copy work orders
• Ongoing preventative maintenance of sawing equipment
• Inventory control of saw related supplies i.e. blades, coolant, hydraulic fluids, etc.
• Regular participation in facilities maintenance with view toward safety and good housekeeping practices
• Safe and proficient use of all warehouse equipment
• Assisting Packaging when determined to be necessary by Production Manager and/or Warehouse Lead Person
• Responsible for driving a forklift and operating an overhead crane


Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to bend and climb and lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16".
• Ability to make simple decimal/fraction conversions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use/read micrometers and calipers.

Warehouse Operator - Coil Line

Daily Objective: Provide quality and accurate parts in a timely and safe manner.


Duties will include various responsibilities such as:

• Convert coiled steel (rod coil) into straightened bar via the Wire Straightening Machine (Rod Coil machine)
• Reading a tape measure and cutting to specific tolerances
• Converting fractions to decimals
• Read and follow what the customer has ordered and corresponding work instructions on the traveler (material inspection form)
• Perform material inspections
• Determine by physical inspection whether the material (to be) processed is correct
• Properly record inspection information on the traveler

• Safe and proficient use of all warehouse equipment
• Maintain traceability of parts and stock
• Maintain a clean working environment using 5S guidelines
• Perform quality verification checks as required
• Printing all required labels
• Packaging orders for shipment


Skills and Abilities:

• Responsible for safely driving a forklift
• Effectively communicating with peers, QA, sales, supervisors, and scheduling regarding order statuses, issues or other questions
• Training additional personnel in required staging and packing tasks
• Ability to seek multiple tasks and prioritize tasks based on multiple factors
• Advising and/or suggesting improvements to the staging and packing processes
• Ability to work as a team player or alone with minimal supervision

Warehouse Operator - Laser

• Proficiency in operating Trumpf lasers
• Documentation of inventory movement through the use of company computer system
• Documentation of inventory movement on hard copy work orders
• Ongoing preventative maintenance of cutting equipment
• Regular participation in facilities maintenance with view toward safety and good housekeeping practices
• Safe and proficient use of all warehouse equipment
• Maintain traceability of parts and stock
• Maintain a clean working environment using 5S guidelines
• Deburr when there is not a deburr step on the order if needed
• Perform quality verification checks as required
• Printing all required labels
• Build shipping packages
• Responsible for safely driving a forklift and operating a gantry crane
• Effectively communicating with QA, Supervisors, and Scheduling regarding order statuses, issues or other questions
• Training additional personnel in required laser operations tasks
• Advising and/or suggesting improvements to the laser cutting process
• Ability to work as a team player with minimal supervision
